We collect personal information only when you choose to send it through our contact form:
We do not collect payment details or identity documents through this website. Please do not include health, medical or other sensitive information in the message field; if a trip needs it, we will ask for it separately and only when it is necessary to operate the service.
We use the information you send us to answer your inquiry, prepare a proposal, and follow up on your request. We do not sell or rent it, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
When a proposal becomes a booking, we share the details strictly needed to deliver the services with the providers who operate them — hotels, transport, guides and activity operators.
This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use it: pages visited, time on site and approximate location at country or city level. The data is aggregated and does not identify you. Our Cookies Policy explains how to opt out.
To keep the contact form free of automated spam, we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks in the background that a submission comes from a real browser. Cloudflare processes the technical signals this check needs as described in its Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
We also limit how many messages can be sent from the same connection in an hour. For that we store a pseudonymized fingerprint of your IP address (a cryptographic hash, not the address itself) with the time of the submission.
Contact form submissions are kept for a maximum of 14 months from receipt, or until you ask us to delete them. Analytics data follows the Google Analytics retention setting of 14 months. The IP fingerprint used to limit submissions is deleted after two hours.
Under Panama's personal data protection law (Law 81 of 2019), you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to its use, or receive it in a portable format. Exercising these rights is free of charge.
Send your request through our contact page or by email to info [at] viarepanama.com. We answer within the time limits set by Law 81 of 2019. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may contact the Autoridad Nacional de Transparencia y Acceso a la Información (ANTAI).
The website is served over HTTPS. Contact form data is transmitted encrypted and stored in access-controlled systems. If a security incident ever affected your information, we would tell you as soon as possible.
This website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
This website does not change its behavior in response to browser Do Not Track signals. No third party collects information about your activity across other websites through this site.
We may update this policy. The effective date below always shows the current version.
