The case
West of the Canal, the Pacific coast runs as a line of beaches from Coronado to Farallón, the stretch known as the Riviera Pacífica. It is the beach a client reaches from the capital by road, without a domestic flight or a boat transfer.
For an advisor it solves the end of a trip: a few nights by the sea after the city and the Canal, or after the cool of El Valle, an hour up the road.
Best suited to families, couples closing a trip and golfers, and to anyone who wants the sea without adding a flight to the itinerary.
The islands and the Caribbean are a different trip. This is the resort coast, and we present it as that.
Getting there
Every movement here is by road. We time the departure from the city against the traffic over the Canal bridges, and the return against the afternoon flow back into the capital.

When to go
On the Pacific side the dry season runs from mid-December to April: clear days and the most reliable beach weather of the year. From May to November the rain usually arrives as an afternoon downpour and the coast turns green.
The sea here is the open Pacific. Conditions change with the day, and we plan beach time around them rather than promising a flat sea.
Weekends and public holidays bring residents of the capital to the coast, and the road west fills with them.
Midweek is a different coast, and arrival and departure days are set accordingly.
What makes it worth the trip

Groups of ten rooms or more are quoted with the resort directly: above nine rooms the hotel sets the group rate.
Our preparation
Road transfers are timed against the traffic leaving and entering the city, and confirmed the day before with the driver and the hotel.
Golf tee times, spa and restaurant reservations are booked with the resort ahead of arrival, not on the day.
Weekend and holiday dates are flagged when we quote, because the coast and the road change character on those days.
